My husband and I knew that we wanted travel to be an important part of raising our family. We started out with short, local trips. As our businesses grew and our commitments became more virtual, we traveled more often. We got a taste of "the untethered life" and we haven't wanted to look back. 

To be untethered does not mean that you aren't grounded in any way, it means that you get to choose your path in life. That looks different for everyone, but for us it means that we mold our life around our desire for freedom and exploration.

A few years ago, we decided it was time to start escaping Fort Wayne's winters. For 3 months, we explored Costa Rica, fostering language skills, farming, and beach adventures. 

The next winter I planned a global tour through Hawaii, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Dubai, which brought amazing experiences and shared memories. 

This last year, we explored Italy, Iceland, and Canada. At the beginning of 2024 we set off on a 6-month journey to Indonesia, Japan, Greece, and Egypt.  We are loving our time in sunny Bali!
